Uran Bislimi

Uran Bislimi is a Swiss midfielder born in Basel on 25 September 1999. He developed with FC Concordia Basel and FC Basel, making his UEFA Youth League debut for Basel’s under-19 side in 2017. In 2019, Bislimi moved to FC Schaffhausen, where he established himself in senior football and helped the club reach the Swiss promotion play-offs in 2022. FC Lugano signed him in July 2022, and he made his Swiss Super League debut against Grasshoppers on 24 July that year. At Lugano, Bislimi has operated across central midfield, combining defensive work with progressive involvement and runs toward the final third. He represented Switzerland at under-19 level before joining Kosovo’s senior setup in 2022 and scoring against the Faroe Islands. Bislimi later returned to Switzerland’s international pathway, making his senior debut as a substitute against Romania in a Euro 2024 qualifier on 19 June 2023.
