Tyger Smalls
Tyger Smalls is an English forward from London who combines central and wide attacking roles. He developed in the academies of Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Norwich City before moving into non-league football with Haverhill Rovers and Saffron Walden Town. At Haverhill, Smalls became the club’s youngest-ever FA Cup player at 16, and he scored 15 goals in 24 appearances. In 2021, he moved to the United States, scoring 26 goals in 36 appearances for Tyler Junior College before adding seven goals and an assist in 20 matches for Loyola Marymount University in 2023. Charlotte FC selected him 14th overall in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft, and he made his league debut against NYCFC on April 27, 2024. He also represented Crown Legacy FC, scoring a stoppage-time playoff winner against FC Cincinnati 2 and a professional goal against Chattanooga FC in August 2024. Smalls has shown a willingness to carry the ball, shoot from distance and operate across the front three while developing his pressing and defensive consistency.
