Tote António Gomes

Tote António Gomes, commonly known as Toti, is a Portuguese centre-back born in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, on 16 January 1999. He moved to Portugal at the age of three and grew up in Cascais, where rugby union formed an important part of his early sporting development. Toti played as a winger for Escolinha de Rugby de Galiza for six years before entering organised football at about 15. He began his football development with GDR Fontainhas, continued through GDS Cascais, and joined Estoril Praia in 2017. His career later included Grasshoppers, adding experience outside Portugal before his progression to Wolves. At Wolves, Toti has established himself as a central defender in the senior game. He has also been involved with Portugal, representing the country at international level.
