Antonio Latorre Grueso

Toni Lato, whose full name is Antonio Latorre Grueso, is a Spanish left-back born in Valencia in 1997. He developed in Valencia’s academy and made his senior debut for the club in February 2016, entering a Europa League victory over Rapid Wien. Lato later reached 100 appearances for Valencia and was part of the squad that won the 2019 Copa del Rey, although he did not play in the final. Seeking regular football, he joined PSV Eindhoven on loan in 2019 before moving to Osasuna on loan in 2020, where he scored his first La Liga goal against Alavés. He returned to Valencia before leaving for Mallorca on a free transfer in July 2023. At Mallorca, Lato provides left-sided defensive cover while offering energy, overlapping runs and crossing ability, and can also operate farther forward.
