Tiago Gouveia attacks space from wide angles, cutting inside to threaten the back line with direct runs. Tiago Gouveia broke into Benfica B in 2019 and later made his Primeira Liga debut for Benfica in 2022, then blossomed during a successful Estoril loan in 2022–23. Gouveia drives at defenders and accelerates. He flourished on loan at Estoril, recording 5 goals and 6 assists in 30 appearances, before establishing himself with Benfica’s first team and securing a loan to Nice in 2025. Then he joined Nice for his first major international move, making over 20 appearances by early 2026. In Nice, Tiago Gouveia operates mainly as a winger, attacking space and pinning centre-backs to create shooting angles. His ball control and agility help him check short then spin in behind and drive at defenders, finishing moves with quick strikes.
