Tiago Emanuel Embaló Djaló

Tiago Djaló is a Portuguese defender from Amadora, born 9 April 2000, who stands 1.90 metres tall. He developed at Sporting CP after beginning with Sport Futebol Damaiense and made his professional debut for Sporting’s reserve side in February 2018. In January 2019, he joined AC Milan, spending six months with the Primavera before moving to Lille later that year. At Lille, Djaló established himself in senior football, making 17 appearances during the club’s 2020–21 Ligue 1 title-winning campaign. He transferred to Juventus in January 2024 while recovering from an ACL injury, then spent the first half of 2024–25 on loan at FC Porto. In August 2025, he moved to Beşiktaş, where he continues to play, primarily as a centre-back while also covering both full-back positions. Djaló has represented Portugal in youth football and is known for his size, recovery speed, aerial ability and proactive defending.
