José Antonio Morente Oliva

Tete Morente, whose full name is José Antonio Morente Oliva, is a Spanish left winger born in La Línea de la Concepción on 4 December 1996. He developed with AD Taraguilla and Atlético Zabal before joining Atlético Madrid’s youth system in 2014. Morente scored for Atlético Madrid C against Real Madrid C in 2015, gaining early senior experience. He moved to Atlético Baleares in 2016 and then joined Gimnàstic de Tarragona, making his professional debut in 2017. After spells with Lugo and Málaga, he signed for Elche in 2020 and made his La Liga debut against Real Sociedad. At Elche, Morente has operated mainly from the left while also contributing through carries, link play and defensive work. He later experienced Serie A with Lecce, adding Italian top-flight football to a career built across Spain’s divisions.
