Talles Macedo Toledo Costa
Talles Costa is a Brazilian midfielder who can operate centrally or in deeper and more advanced roles. Born in São Paulo on 2 August 2002, Talles Costa joined São Paulo’s academy in 2013 and progressed through its youth system. He was part of Brazil’s squad that won the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup, gaining international youth experience. Talles made his senior debut for São Paulo in 2021 and later helped the club win the 2021 Campeonato Paulista and 2023 Copa do Brasil. Seeking European football, he moved to Polessya in February 2024, where his passing, ball progression and defensive work featured in midfield. He now represents Ironi Kiryat Shmona, adding experience from Brazilian and Ukrainian football to his career. Across his development, Talles has been used as a central, defensive or attacking midfielder, reflecting positional flexibility and an ability to support buildup and pressing.
