Thomas Van den Keybus

Thomas Van den Keybus is a Belgian midfielder, born in Brugge on 25 April 2001. He developed at Club Brugge, where his progression led to Club Brugge II in the Belgian First Division B during the 2020–21 season. Van den Keybus also made a brief first-team appearance against Cercle Brugge in September 2020, continuing his senior pathway within the club. In August 2021, he joined KVC Westerlo on loan and gained a larger role in midfield. He helped Westerlo win the First Division B title in 2021–22 and secure promotion to the Pro League, after which his loan was extended. Westerlo completed his permanent transfer from Club Brugge in July 2023. At Westerlo, Van den Keybus has operated centrally, defensively and higher up the pitch, contributing through link-up play, ball progression, long passing and defensive work.
