Timothy Justin Tillman

Timothy Justin Tillman is a German midfielder who plays in central midfield for Los Angeles FC. Born in Nürnberg on 4 January 1999, he developed at ASV Zirndorf and 1. SC Feucht before joining Greuther Fürth’s academy in 2009. In 2015, Tillman moved to Bayern Munich, where he helped the under-19 side win the A-Junioren Bundesliga Süd/Südwest in 2017 and later appeared for Bayern Munich II. He spent 2018–19 on loan at 1. FC Nürnberg, making his Bundesliga debut on 10 March 2019. Tillman returned to Greuther Fürth in January 2020 and made 85 appearances during a three-year spell that included Bundesliga football. In February 2023, he joined Los Angeles FC, continuing his development from an attacking role toward a box-to-box midfield position. After representing Germany through under-19 level, Tillman received FIFA approval to switch allegiance and made his United States debut against Slovenia in January 2024.
