Teddy Teuma

Teddy Teuma is a Maltese central midfielder born in Toulon, France, on 30 September 1993. He began his senior career in France before progressing through Boulogne and Red Star FC 93, building experience outside the top flight. In 2019, Teuma moved to Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise, where he developed into a captain and helped the side win promotion to the Belgian top division in 2021. Union Saint-Gilloise then challenged near the top of the league, while Teuma also featured in its UEFA Europa League campaign. In July 2023, he joined Reims and returned to Ligue 1. Teuma made his Malta debut in 2020 and has served as a central figure for the national team. He combines ball-winning and pressing with progressive passing, set-piece delivery and the ability to contribute from advanced midfield positions.
