Tomás Líam Romero Keubler

Tomás Líam Romero Keubler is a Salvadoran goalkeeper born in Cherry Hill, USA, on 19 December 2000. He developed with Real Jersey FC and Philadelphia Union’s academy before joining Bethlehem Steel FC, making his professional debut against Rochester Rhinos in 2017 at 16. From 2017 to 2019, Romero made 17 appearances for Bethlehem Steel and produced an 11-save display against Louisville City FC in 2019. He then attended Georgetown, helping the Hoyas win the 2019 NCAA Division I national championship after saving a penalty in the final shootout against Virginia. Romero turned professional with Los Angeles FC in 2021, debuting with a clean sheet against FC Dallas, and was part of the club’s 2022 MLS Cup and Supporters’ Shield-winning squad. He later joined Toronto FC before moving to New York City FC, while also featuring for New York City II. Internationally, Romero chose El Salvador and made his senior debut against Ecuador in December 2021, adding experience in CONCACAF competition.
