Timothée Joseph Pembélé

Timothée Joseph Pembélé is a French right-back born in Beaumont-sur-Oise on 9 September 2002. He began playing with US Persan 03, joined the Paris Saint-Germain academy in 2015, and developed initially as a centre-back. Pembélé signed his first professional contract with PSG at 15, making his senior debut against Bordeaux in November 2020. He also appeared in the Champions League that season, gaining early senior experience in domestic and European competition. In 2021–22, he moved to Bordeaux on loan, where he operated increasingly as a right-back and contributed to the team’s attacking play from defence. After an ACL injury in April 2022, Pembélé returned to PSG and was part of the squad that won Ligue 1 in 2022–23. He then joined Sunderland in 2023, before returning to France on loan with Le Havre, continuing his development as a versatile defender.
