Tomáš Nemčík

Tomáš Nemčík is a Slovak defender born in Žilina on 19 April 2001. He joined the MŠK Žilina youth system in 2011 and developed through the club’s pathway, making 29 appearances for Žilina B between 2018 and 2022. Nemčík made his first-team debut on 21 October 2020 against Ružomberok, playing the full match. By summer 2023, he had captained Žilina during their UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying campaign. In early 2024, Nemčík moved to Rosenborg initially on loan, with the Norwegian club making the transfer permanent in April. He established himself in Rosenborg’s lineup during the 2024 and 2025 seasons, making more than 40 appearances. As a centre-back, he contributes through interceptions, tackles, clearances and progressive passing, combining defensive work with involvement in build-up play.
