Tristan Muyumba Nkita

Tristan Muyumba Nkita is a French midfielder born in Paris on 7 March 1997. He developed with AS Meudon and Montrouge FC before joining Monaco’s academy in 2012. At Monaco, he helped the under-19 side win the 2016 Coupe Gambardella and was involved in the club’s 2016–17 Ligue 1-winning squad. Muyumba made his senior debut in a 2017 Coupe de France semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain, starting in Monaco’s 5–0 defeat. He then spent the 2017–18 season on loan at Cercle Brugge, contributing to the club’s Belgian First Division B title and promotion. After a spell with Toulon and time in Guingamp’s reserve setup, he moved into the first team in January 2021 and became a regular in Ligue 2. In July 2023, Atlanta United signed Muyumba, where he operates as a high-energy central midfielder focused on ball recovery, secure passing and possession transitions.
