Thomas Monconduit

Thomas Monconduit is a French midfielder born in Drancy on 10 February 1991. After developing with JA Drancy and INF Clairefontaine, he joined the AJ Auxerre academy and progressed to France Under-19 involvement. Following a difficult period that included three surgeries and a year without a club, he revived his career with Amiens in 2015. Monconduit helped Amiens rise from the Championnat National to Ligue 1 through successive promotions, serving as captain during the 2016–17 campaign. In August 2020, he moved to Lorient, where his holding-midfield work supported defensive coverage and the link between defence and attack. He joined Saint-Étienne in 2022 and contributed to their promotion back to Ligue 1 in 2024. Returning to Amiens in February 2025, Monconduit brought experience as a deep-lying midfielder who values positional discipline, ball retention and tempo control.
