Tyrick Kwon Mitchell

Tyrick Kwon Mitchell is an English left-back who was born in London on 1 September 1999. He developed at AFC Wembley before joining Brentford’s academy in 2012. After Brentford closed its academy in 2016, Crystal Palace signed Mitchell following a trial, giving him a route into the club’s youth system. His first-team breakthrough came under Roy Hodgson, when he made his Palace debut against Leicester City in July 2020. Mitchell established himself as a regular at left-back and, during the 2021–22 campaign, earned his first England call-up. He made his international debut as a substitute against Switzerland before starting against Ivory Coast at Wembley. At Palace, Mitchell has built his game around one-versus-one defending and defensive duels, while helping the club win the FA Cup in 2025.
