Tamás Markek

Tamás Markek is a Hungarian goalkeeper born on 30 August 1991. He developed at FC Nagykanizsa before moving through Hungarian football with NTE 1866 MÁV and Lombard Pápa, where he mainly played for the reserve side. Markek later represented Rákosmente from 2015 to 2017, then spent four seasons with Aqvital FC Csákvár, making 87 appearances in the second tier. On 1 July 2021, he joined Puskás Akadémia and reached Hungary’s top flight at the age of 30. He made his NB I debut on 24 October 2021 in a 3–0 away win over Debrecen. The following month, he received a Save of the Month award. At Puskás Akadémia, Markek has subsequently provided experienced goalkeeping depth while also being described as a ball-playing and sweeper-keeper.
