Talgat Kusyapov

Talgat Kusyapov is a Kazakhstan defender who can operate at left-back or centre-back. Born on 14 February 1999, he developed in Kazakhstan and entered the national youth setup with the under-17 side in 2016. Kusyapov joined FC Astana as a young prospect and made first-team appearances after his 2017 debut. He spent three loan spells with Caspiy Aktau between 2019 and 2023, becoming a regular and making 24 appearances during the 2023 season. His Astana spell also included involvement in the squad that won the Kazakhstan Premier League title in 2022. In July 2024, Kusyapov moved to Russian First League club KAMAZ, where he made eight appearances. He returned to Kazakhstan in July 2025, joining Aktobe and adding a tall, versatile defensive option to the squad.
