Tim Kleindienst

Tim Kleindienst is a German forward born in Jüterbog on 31 August 1995. He developed at FC Viktoria Jüterbog before joining Energie Cottbus’s youth system in 2008, and made his professional debut for Cottbus in the 2. Bundesliga in December 2013. Kleindienst later played for SC Freiburg, although his career took shape through several spells with 1. FC Heidenheim. He also represented Belgian side Gent before returning to Heidenheim for the 2022/23 campaign. That season, he scored 25 goals to finish as the 2. Bundesliga’s top scorer, while his late goal against Jahn Regensburg helped secure Heidenheim’s first promotion to the Bundesliga. Kleindienst scored 12 goals in Heidenheim’s debut top-flight season, including two in a 3–2 win over Bayern Munich. In June 2024, he joined Borussia Mönchengladbach and subsequently established himself as a focal point in attack, while also making his Germany debut in October 2024.
