Thomas Lloyd King

Thomas Lloyd King is a Welsh goalkeeper born in Plymouth, England, on 9 March 1995. He began playing in Gibraltar with Manchester United (Gibraltar), later known as Manchester 62, before developing in the Portsmouth and Crystal Palace academies. King turned professional with Millwall in 2014 and built senior experience through loans at Welling United, Braintree Town, Stevenage and AFC Wimbledon. He moved to Newport County in 2019, where five consecutive clean sheets earned him a PFA League Two Player of the Month nomination. On 19 January 2021, King set a Guinness World Record when a wind-assisted goal kick against Cheltenham Town travelled 96.01 metres and entered the net. After spells with Salford City and Northampton Town, he joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2023 and made his Premier League debut as a substitute against Brentford in May 2025. Eligible for Wales through his mother, King made his senior international debut against Gibraltar in June 2024 and later joined Everton.
