Tiernan Kelly

Tiernan Kelly is a Northern Irish midfielder who combines a soccer career with high-level Gaelic football. Born in Lurgan on 16 November 2001, he developed in soccer with Camlough Rovers and Loughgall. Kelly helped Loughgall secure promotion to the NIFL Premiership before moving to Dungannon Swifts in July 2025. With Dungannon, he is used primarily in a defensive midfield role, contributing to the protection of the back four and the recovery of possession. Away from soccer, Kelly attended St Ronan’s College, which won the 2018 Hogan Cup, and played for Armagh and Clann Éireann. He won the Armagh Senior Club Championship with Clann Éireann in 2021. Kelly later helped Armagh win the 2024 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, scoring a point in the final.
