Timothy Emeka Iroegbunam

Timothy Emeka Iroegbunam is an English central midfielder born in Birmingham on 30 June 2003. He began playing at Sutton United in Sutton Coldfield before joining West Bromwich Albion, where he was an unused substitute against Leeds United in May 2021. Aston Villa signed Iroegbunam in July 2021, and he developed through their academy and under-23s. He made his Premier League debut in February 2022, coming on for Philippe Coutinho against Brighton, then made his first start against Norwich City in April. Iroegbunam represented England Under-19s at the 2022 European Championship, appearing in the final as England beat Israel. Villa loaned him to Queens Park Rangers for 2022–23, when he made 32 appearances and scored twice. He joined Everton in June 2024, continuing his progression as a midfielder able to protect the defence and carry the ball forward.
