Toni Fruk

Toni Fruk is a Croatian attacking midfielder who plays for HNK Rijeka and represents Croatia. Born in 2001, he began his development abroad, joining Mouscron’s youth academy in Belgium before moving to Fiorentina in 2019. Although he did not make a senior Serie A appearance for Fiorentina, Fruk gained competitive experience on loan with Dubrava and HNK Gorica. At Gorica, he moved into senior football and scored his first reported goal against Rijeka in 2021. Rijeka signed Fruk permanently in 2023, where he developed from a wide attacker into a central playmaker capable of operating as a number 10, shadow striker or inverted winger. He helped Rijeka win the Croatian league and cup in 2024–25, establishing himself as a major creative presence in the HNL. Fruk made his senior Croatia debut in 2025 and has since become involved in the national team’s World Cup qualifying campaign.
