Thijs Dallinga attacks space as a central forward, checks short then spins in behind and leads the line for Bologna. Thijs Dallinga broke through at Excelsior in 2021–22, scoring 36 goals in 43 games to fuel promotion. He makes quick layoffs to support midfield. Dallinga then joined Toulouse, finishing as top scorer in the 2023 Coupe de France and helping them win their first major trophy. In 2024 he moved to Bologna for a reported €18 million, establishing himself as a focal point of the attack. The Netherlands called him into the squad in 2023. At Bologna he continues to chain runs and finish moves, threatening the back line and getting shots off quickly. He finishes moves when runners pull centre-backs and maintains a consistent on-pitch punchline.
