Tomáš Čvančara

Tomáš Čvančara is a Czech forward who developed through youth football at Sparta Prague and Slavia Prague before making his senior debut for FK Jablonec in 2018. A spell at Empoli’s academy preceded a productive period at Slavoj Vyšehrad, where he scored 13 goals in 21 second-division appearances. He joined Sparta Praha in December 2021, and during the 2022–23 season scored 12 goals in 24 appearances as the club won the Czech league title. In July 2023, Borussia Mönchengladbach signed Čvančara, who scored twice on his competitive debut in the DFB-Pokal and twice in his Bundesliga debut against Augsburg. At 1.90 metres, he can lead the line, link play or operate wider. Čvančara also contributes through pressing and aerial play. He has represented the Czech Republic internationally.
