Tomas Cosgrove

Tomas Cosgrove is a Northern Irish right-back who developed through the youth and reserve ranks at Cliftonville before reaching the first team. At Cliftonville, he was part of teams that won Premiership titles in 2012–13 and 2013–14, along with four successive League Cups. In July 2018, Cosgrove moved to Larne, then competing in the NIFL Championship. He helped Larne win promotion in 2018–19 and contributed to the club’s County Antrim Shield success in 2020. His work at right-back also formed part of Larne’s back-to-back Premiership title-winning campaigns in 2022–23 and 2023–24. Cosgrove’s role developed from traditional full-back duties into a more expansive wing-back position as Larne established itself among Northern Ireland’s leading clubs. He also featured in the squad’s historic qualification for the UEFA Conference League league phase.
