Tio Cipot

Tio Cipot is a Slovenian central midfielder from Murska Sobota, born on 20 April 2003. He developed at Mura and made his senior debut against Aluminij on 19 July 2020, aged 17. Cipot helped Mura win the 2020/21 Slovenian Prva Liga title and gained exposure in European qualifying and Conference League football. In January 2023, he moved to Spezia, taking his career into Italian football and making his debut against Bologna later that month. He subsequently joined Grazer AK on loan for the 2024/25 season, scoring seven goals in 27 Austrian Bundesliga appearances. At international level, Cipot has represented Slovenia Under-21 and scored twice on his debut against Bosnia and Herzegovina in September 2022. He is now listed with Maribor, where his central-midfield experience and ability to make forward runs add another chapter to his development.
