Chorý rose through Viktoria Plzeň, winning the 2021–22 First League title and becoming a club reference. He thrives in the box. In July 2024, Tomáš Chorý moved to Slavia Prague to continue his attacking role. He joined Slavia and scored on his Czech Republic debut in Euro 2024 qualifying. During 2024–2025 he tallied 14 league goals and 4 Europa League goals, reinforcing his role as the focal point up front. Chorý presses high, protects possession, pins centre-backs, and finishes moves at the back post.
