Tarık Çetin

Tarık Çetin is a Turkish goalkeeper born in İstanbul on 8 January 1997. He began his football education with Kocaeli Demirspor before joining Fenerbahçe’s academy in October 2009. Çetin progressed through Fenerbahçe’s youth system until 2018 and represented Türkiye at under-16, under-18 and under-19 level. That year, he signed professionally for Fenerbahçe and moved on loan to Fatih Karagümrük, beginning his senior career away from the club. In July 2019, he joined Çaykur Rizespor in the transfer that took Vedat Muriqi to Fenerbahçe, then spent six seasons gaining experience in Rize. His professional top-flight debut came against Galatasaray, providing an early test in a demanding Süper Lig fixture. Standing 1.93 metres, Çetin offers useful reach in aerial situations and has developed a game that includes distribution and proactive sweeper-keeper actions. In 2025, Tarık Çetin returned to Fenerbahçe as a free agent, completing his journey from academy prospect to senior-squad goalkeeper.
