Thiago Nicolás Borbas Silva
Thiago Nicolás Borbas Silva is a Uruguayan forward born in Montevideo on 7 April 2002. He developed at Club Zorzal before joining CA River Plate’s academy in 2012, where he progressed to professional football. Borbas made his senior debut for River Plate in September 2020 against Montevideo Wanderers. In 2022, he became River Plate’s leading attacking option and finished as the Uruguayan league’s top scorer with 19 goals. RB Bragantino signed him in November 2022, and he contributed nine league goals in 2023 while also making appearances from the bench. His continental experience grew in the 2024 Copa Sudamericana, where he scored four goals in ten matches. Borbas has represented Uruguay and made his senior debut against Nicaragua in June 2023; he is currently with Atlético-MG.
