Tai Baribo
Tai Baribo is an Israeli centre-forward born in Eilat on 15 January 1998. As a youth player, he trained with Hapoel Rishon LeZion after leaving home at 14, then joined Maccabi Petah Tikva at 15. He made his senior debut for Maccabi Petah Tikva in 2017 and helped the club win the 2019–20 Liga Leumit. In 2021, Baribo moved to Austria’s Wolfsberger AC, scoring 27 goals in 61 appearances across two seasons. He joined Philadelphia Union in 2023 and became a more prominent scorer in 2024, when he recorded a hat-trick against New England Revolution and won the Leagues Cup Golden Boot with seven goals in six matches. Baribo also represents Israel and scored a late Nations League winner against Albania. He later transferred to D.C. United, continuing his career in Major League Soccer.
