Toluwalase Emmanuel Arokodare

Toluwalase Emmanuel Arokodare is a Nigerian forward born in Festac on 23 November 2000. Standing 1.97 metres, he developed in Nigeria before moving to Latvia, where he joined Valmiera and established himself as a regular goal threat. His performances there led to a season-long loan with 1. FC Köln in 2020. Arokodare then continued his development in France with Amiens, spending two seasons in Ligue 2 and becoming a more consistent focal point in attack. In January 2023, he moved to Genk, where his size, penalty-area movement and finishing made him an important centre-forward. He finished the 2024/25 Belgian Pro League season as its leading scorer with 21 goals and received the Ebony Shoe as Belgium’s best African player. Arokodare is currently listed with Ajax, adding a new chapter to a career that has progressed from the Baltics through Germany, France and Belgium.
