Taisei Abe
Taisei Abe is a Japanese midfielder born in Nagasaki on June 7, 2004. He developed with hometown club V-Varen Nagasaki and joined its professional ranks in 2021. Abe made his senior debut as a late substitute for Caio César in a 3–0 win over Renofa Yamaguchi. On June 22, 2022, he scored his first professional goal against FC Tokyo in the Emperor’s Cup, contributing to an extra-time victory. His performances brought selection for Japan’s Under-20 side, and he featured at the 2023 AFC U-20 Asian Cup, where Japan reached the semi-finals. Abe also played against Senegal at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
