Thelo Gerard Aasgaard

Thelo Gerard Aasgaard is a Norwegian midfielder born in Liverpool on 2 May 2002. He developed at Liverpool before moving to Wigan Athletic’s academy at 14, seeking a clearer route to senior football. After injury setbacks during his scholarship years, Aasgaard made his professional debut for Wigan in October 2020 and established himself across five seasons. His performances at Wigan earned a January 2025 move to Championship club Luton Town, where he spent the second half of the campaign. In July 2025, he joined Rangers, continuing his career in Scottish football. Aasgaard has been used as an attacking midfielder or left-sided No. 8, combining progressive passing with a willingness to shoot from distance. He has represented Norway at youth level, including the under-21 side, and is also involved with the senior national team.
