Ştefan Daniel Lefter

Ştefan Daniel Lefter is a Romanian goalkeeper born in Iaşi on 18 November 2004. He developed at LPS Iaşi before joining Rapid Bucureşti’s youth system in 2020. Lefter then continued his progression with Corvinul Hunedoara, where he became an important part of the club’s rise. His breakthrough came in the 2023–24 Cupa României, as Corvinul, then in Liga II, defeated top-flight opposition and reached the final. In the final against Oţelul Galaţi, Lefter played through extra time and the ensuing penalty shootout as Corvinul lifted the trophy. The achievement also took him into European qualifying football, including UEFA Europa League and Conference League matches. Lefter later moved to Universitatea Cluj and has also represented Romania at under-20 and under-21 level.
