Antonio Sivera Salvá

Antonio Sivera Salvá is a Spanish goalkeeper born in Jávea on 11 August 1996. He developed in Valencia’s academy, progressing to the reserves and becoming a regular during the 2016–17 season. Although Sivera was involved with Valencia’s senior setup, he did not make a first-team league appearance before leaving the club. In July 2017, he joined Deportivo Alavés, where he spent several seasons as Fernando Pacheco’s deputy. A loan spell at UD Almería in 2020 gave him an opportunity to play regularly in the Segunda División. After returning to Alavés, Sivera eventually established himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, making 34 appearances and keeping 10 clean sheets in 2023–24. At international level, he helped Spain win the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2015 and the Under-21 European Championship in 2019, while his proactive style combines reflex shot-stopping, command of the area and long-range distribution.
