Sergi Cardona Bermúdez

Sergi Cardona is a Spanish left-back from Lloret de Mar, born on 8 July 1999. He developed in Catalonia with Gimnastic, progressing through the club’s reserve structure before entering senior football. He made his professional debut for Gimnastic in Segunda División against Lugo on 9 June 2019. Cardona left the club in 2020 and joined Las Palmas, initially playing for the reserves before making his first-team debut in May 2021. At Las Palmas, he established himself as a left-back who could combine defensive work with width and support in possession. He played 39 matches during the 2022–23 campaign, helping the club return to LaLiga. In July 2024, Sergi Cardona moved to Villarreal as a free agent. With Villarreal, he continued his development in top-flight football, offering an option at left-back.
