Young-Woo Seol
Young-Woo Seol is a South Korean defender born in Ulsan on 5 December 1998. He developed in Ulsan Hyundai’s youth system and initially played as a winger before moving to full-back during his university years under coach Yoo Sang-chul. Seol returned to his hometown club, Ulsan Hyundai, making his professional debut in 2020 and earning recognition after starting the East Coast Derby against Pohang Steelers that October. He helped Ulsan win the AFC Champions League in 2020 and K League 1 titles in 2022 and 2023. In 2021, Seol became the first defender since 2017 to receive the K League 1 Young Player of the Year award. He joined Serbian club FK Crvena Zvezda in June 2024. Seol has also represented South Korea and won gold at the 2022 Asian Games, held in 2023.
