Sekou Fofana

Sekou Fofana is a French defender, born on 25 March 2003. He developed in France with ASJA and FC Montfermeil before moving to Saint-Étienne in 2021. That year, Fofana joined FC Lausanne-Sport, beginning a progression through Swiss football. He later spent the 2023–24 season on loan at US Avranches, gaining senior experience in France’s Championnat National. Returning to Lausanne in June 2024, he continued his development there, with squad references also connecting him to Lausanne Sport II and Auxerre. Primarily a left-back, Fofana combines defensive positioning and work in duels with the ability to support build-up play, while his athletic profile helps him recover during transitions.
