Saud Abdullah Salem Abdulhamid
Saud Abdulhamid is a Saudi full-back, born in Jeddah on 18 July 1999. He developed in Al-Ittihad’s youth system from 2012 to 2018 and made his senior debut during the 2018–19 season, making 75 appearances for the club. In 2022, Abdulhamid moved to Al-Hilal, where he won back-to-back Saudi Pro League titles and the King’s Cup. He represented Saudi Arabia at the 2022 World Cup, playing in the 2–1 victory over Argentina. In August 2024, he joined AS Roma, becoming the first Saudi player to sign for a Serie A club. Abdulhamid later moved to Lens on loan for the 2025–26 season to pursue regular Ligue 1 football. Primarily a right-back, he contributes through flank runs, short passing and recovery work, while his pace supports both overlapping attacks and defensive transitions.
