Saša Zdjelar

Saša Zdjelar is a Serbian midfielder born in Belgrade on 20 March 1995. He developed at OFK Beograd and made his senior debut there in 2011, establishing himself before moving abroad. In 2015, Zdjelar joined Olympiakos Piraeus after helping Serbia’s under-20 side win the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. Limited opportunities in Greece led to a loan spell with Mallorca in Spain’s Segunda División. He joined FK Partizan in 2018, first on loan and then permanently, becoming a regular in midfield and taking on the captaincy in 2020. Zdjelar later moved to CSKA Moscow in 2022, where he won the Russian Cup in 2023, before a subsequent spell with Zenit Saint Petersburg. His international record includes Serbia’s successful under-20 campaign, while his club role has combined defensive midfield work with central-midfield duties.
