Serkan Kadir Yusein

Serkan Kadir Yusein is a Bulgarian midfielder who developed in the Botev Plovdiv system and made his senior debut for the club in 2013. He established himself as a promising young player before moving to Ludogorets in January 2019. Competition for places limited his league opportunities there, and he subsequently spent time on loan with Tsarsko Selo, CSKA 1948 and Beroe. Yusein later revived his career at Krumovgrad, where his midfield performances included a career-best return of eight goals across 45 appearances. His role developed from an attacking or creative position into a more versatile central midfield assignment. He has been described as capable of winning the ball, supporting transitions and operating as either a deep-lying or box-to-box midfielder. In 2024, Yusein received a call-up to Bulgaria, and he is now part of Arda Kardzhali.
