Steeve Farid Yago

Steeve Farid Yago is a Burkina Faso international defender born in Sarcelles, France, on 16 December 1992. He developed at Toulouse and made his Ligue 1 debut for the club in August 2012, building a senior career of more than 120 appearances there across seven years. Yago later joined Caen, competing in Ligue 2 before moving to Cyprus in 2021. At Aris, he has operated across the back line, bringing positional discipline, physical defending and experience to the club’s defensive unit. He helped Aris win the Cypriot First Division in 2022–23 and the Cypriot Super Cup in 2023–24, while also featuring in European qualifying and the Europa League. Yago has represented Burkina Faso since his 2013 debut, including Africa Cup of Nations campaigns and the team’s third-place finish at the 2017 tournament.
