Samuele Vignato

Samuele Vignato is an Italian attacking midfielder from Fumane, born in 2004. He developed in the ChievoVerona academy, joining at six and progressing through the club’s youth system. During the 2020–21 Primavera 2 season, Vignato registered 14 goals and 11 assists in 18 matches for Chievo’s Under-19 side before making his senior debut in Serie B in May 2021. After Chievo’s exclusion from professional football, he joined Monza in August 2021 and scored his first professional goal that September against Pordenone. Following Monza’s promotion, Vignato debuted in Serie A in November 2022 and later scored in his first top-flight start, against Salernitana in October 2023. He subsequently moved to HNK Rijeka, where he offers close control, dribbling and creative play in an attacking role. Vignato has represented Italy from Under-15 to Under-19 level and was part of the team that won the 2023 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
