Steve Loic Solvet

Steve Loic Solvet is a Guadeloupean defender born in France on 20 March 1996. He began developing in Guadeloupe before moving to mainland France in 2013 and joining Strasbourg’s system. Although he primarily played for Strasbourg B, he was part of the club’s rise through National 1 and Ligue 2 during the 2015–16 and 2016–17 seasons. After a spell with Dijon B and a 2019 move to Bergerac Périgord, Solvet established himself with Sète from 2020 to 2022. He then joined Orléans, before playing for Martigues in 2024–25. Standing 1.91 metres tall, Solvet offers an aerial presence at centre-back and is also described as a ball-playing defender. He has represented Guadeloupe, including at the 2021 Gold Cup, and moved abroad to Azerbaijan’s Sabah FK in 2025.
