Simon Solomon Junior Sohm

Simon Solomon Junior Sohm is a Swiss central midfielder born in Zürich on 11 April 2001. He developed at FC Zürich and made his professional debut in October 2018 after signing his first professional contract that summer. A deep-lying midfielder at Zürich, Sohm established himself during the 2019–20 campaign before moving to Parma in October 2020. After Parma’s relegation, he became a regular in Serie B, where his role expanded beyond screening the defence. Under Fabio Pecchia, Sohm operated as a No. 6, No. 8 or attacking midfielder, carrying the ball forward and supporting build-up play. He helped Parma win the 2023–24 Serie B title and return to Serie A. Sohm has represented Switzerland since making his senior debut against Croatia in October 2020, and is now listed with Venezia.
