Stefan Simič

Stefan Simič is a Czech centre-back born in Prague on January 20, 1995. After early development in Prague and Italy, he joined AC Milan’s youth system and won the 2014 Torneo di Viareggio. He then built senior experience through loan spells at Royal Excel Mouscron, Crotone and Frosinone, moving between Belgium and Italy. Those periods preceded a permanent move to HNK Hajduk Split in 2019, where he established himself in central defence. Simič helped Hajduk win consecutive Croatian Cups in 2021/22 and 2022/23. He later continued his career with Eibar in Spain’s second tier before joining Omonia Nicosia in Cyprus. At 1.89 metres, Simič offers a physical presence in the air and favours disciplined positioning, firm tackling and straightforward clearances from the back line.
