Stefán Ingi Sigurðarson
Stefán Ingi Sigurðarson is an Icelandic forward whose development has taken him from Kópavogur-based football to the Netherlands. He came through Breiðablik’s academy and gained senior experience on loan with Augnablik, Grindavík and ÍBV between 2019 and 2021. In 2022, he joined HK Kópavogur on loan and helped the club secure promotion to Iceland’s top flight. Returning to Breiðablik in 2023, Sigurðarson made a rapid impact, scoring six goals in his first five league appearances and featuring in Champions League qualifying. That form earned him a move to Belgian Challenger Pro League club Patro Eisden in July 2023. He continued his progression with Sandefjord in Norway from 2024, becoming a prolific Eliteserien forward during the 2025 season. In February 2026, Sigurðarson moved to Go Ahead Eagles, where he continues his career as a central attacking option in the Eredivisie.
