Samuel Şahin-Radlinger

Samuel Şahin-Radlinger is an Austrian goalkeeper born on 7 November 1992 in Ried im Innkreis. He developed in SV Ried’s youth system before spending the 2010–11 season on loan at Union St. Florian in Austria’s Regional League Central. In June 2011, Hannover 96 signed him, and he initially played for the club’s reserve side in the Regionalliga Nord. Şahin-Radlinger represented Austria from under-18 through under-21 level and was the country’s first-choice goalkeeper at the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He joined Rapid Wien on loan in 2013, making his Austrian Bundesliga debut in a goalless draw with Wiener Neustadt that December. Further loans took him to SK Brann in 2018, while he moved permanently to Barnsley in 2019, continuing his career in England. In August 2020, he returned to SV Ried for three seasons before joining Austria Vienna in September 2023; after a loan spell at Almere City, he is registered with the Vienna club.
